Martha Bednarz

Director of Marketing

Martha has spent over two decades successfully marketing technology innovations. For 15 years, she was Principal of ONYX Communications, a full-service marketing communications agency serving a “Who’s Who” list of high technology clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Lotus, and IBM, among many others. During this period, she also served as adjunct faculty for Northeastern University’s Masters of Business and Professional Writing Program and at the University Massachusetts Lowell.

Joining Infrasoft in 2001 as Marketing Communication Manager, Martha helped launch the first web-based collaborative engineering solution for this multinational software company. She was responsible for leveraging marketing resources from mature international market segments (in which Infrasoft’s MOSS and MX Civil Engineering software product lines were leaders) for the emerging US market. Leading a combined UK/US team to redevelop key messaging, she helped to successfully attract second-round investment and the acquisition of Infrasoft by Bentley Systems in 2003. At Bentley Systems, Martha managed worldwide marketing communications as Corporate Marketing Manager for Bentley’s Civil Engineering software business.

Before joining Envista, Martha took a hiatus from the technology business to give back to the community as a non-profit fundraising professional. She joined the world-renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra as Corporate Programs Manager and raised $1.4 million in memberships from major New England corporations. Martha holds a BA in English from Vassar College and serves on the Board of Trustees of Salem Sound Coastwatch.
