Features
Envista lets you see your projects geo-located on a map with other stakeholder projects in your region. Projects are shown as icons in the industry-standard colors for underground utilities.
In Envista, there are three main parts to the Projects screen: the map, the spreadsheet of projects, and the filters. The spreadsheet view of projects is synchonized with the map. Both the map and spreadsheet are controlled by filters so you can filter by geography, project type, date range, and more. Click on image for screenshot.
In Conflicts, if two projects are planned on the same section of road at any time in the future, the system automatically flags it with a Conflict icon. This feature alerts you to potential issues and shows details of the conflicting project(s), as well as the contact for the project owner. Click on image for screenshot.
The Moratoriums feature enables municipalities to upload their existing street moratorium information and display it for use by utilities. After the data is uploaded and any street paving projects in the system are completed, Envista automatically creates a moratorium on that section of street and assigns a start date and an end date. Opportunities are streets that have paving work planned some time in the future. Envista automatically displays these streets to allow utility companies to prioritize their work and to avoid missing the opportunity to complete work before a street goes under moratorium. Municipalities can encourage others to excavate on these streets first to save paving costs. Click on image for screenshot.
The Dashboard shows information such as new projects, conflicts, moratoriums, or opportunities since you last logged in or in the last 30 days. It allows you to view any new notifications from other stakeholders and see a list of projects whose schedule has changed. You can also see the date of last login or update from a project owner.
