You can now take advantage of web services with a new Envista application programming interface (API) based on RESTful Web Services. You can use Envista web services to integrate Envista map-based coordination data with other systems such as a web application or your internal systems. The Envista REST API can also be used to display Envista map-based coordination data to the public from your website.
For data import or export, the Envista REST API can be called from within your internal systems (such as work order management, permit applications or other in-house applications) using a file transfer library to push or extract data from the internal system to the Envista solution without human intervention.
